Outer packaging of the shipment (lots of bubble wrap) was great. However, the hard paper carton cannot endure external pressure and crumpled a bit. The lens (the content), however, was well protected in bubble wrap. So the lens and content arrive intact. Not so with the paper box. Minor issue.
Note that there isn't any included instructions manual. However, it should be intuitive enough.
Lens use: a tripod is necessary even with image stabilization. With micro four thirds mount, the 900mm focal length literally becomes 1800mm. My experience is that there is a distance range that these economy reflex mirror lens is good for. Photos are good in the closer distance. As it gets far, image sharpness becomes an issue as the focus approaches infinity.
In broad day light, an addition of a lens hood would be great. A dedicated tripod bracket would be nice.
Very good price to performance ratio.
